UEA is a leading-climate research university, with a lot of work pointing to plant-based diets as a necessity for reducing the impact of climate change - let's hold them accountable, and make sure they practise what they preach!
Food systems are responsible for around a third of all global greenhouse gas emissions, and animal products are the dominant driver. Meat and dairy alone generate more emissions than all the world's planes, ships, and cars combined. Every meal UEA serves is a choice between perpetuating this crisis or being part of the solution.
Every plate is a decision UEA makes and can change. UEA has already committed to Net-Zero. Going 100% plant-based is one of the most visible, controllable ways to actually deliver on that promise.
University of Graz went fully plant-based - and UEA can be next!
